Insurance is included with your Motopool subscription. All approved drivers are covered by the Motopool insurance policy. The standard excess included in the policy is $1500. For more information refer to the membership agreement.

Think of the Motopool concierge as your personal vehicle support team. Not only will they deliver your car, they’ll work with you to understand changes to your needs and help you choose the right car. Your concierge is there to help you maximise the benefits and the experience of your Motopool subscription.

If you are in the premium pool you can use the Motopool booking system or call your concierge to request your next vehicle. You’ll give details of when and where you would like to receive it. A Motopool concierge will deliver your new car cleaned and fueled. You can change (flip) cars up to 3 times each month.

If you choose either the Value or Starter Pools then you just notify your Motopool Concierge of what car you want with 3 days notice and then simply come into our dealership to pick up the car which will be cleaned and fueled and ready to go.

Motopool offers a variety of different cars from SUV’s to Sportscars to Utes and the range differs depending on which pool you sign up to. Refer to the Motopool Cars Page for a current list or check out the Motopool website.

Your subscription includes insurance, registration, servicing, maintenance and roadside assistance. Any additional charges incurred through using the vehicles are the responsibility of the driver including tolls, fuel, parking infringements or speeding fines.

Motopool has 3 different pool options each with a different price point. You can view all the options on our Cars Page.

Starter Pool – $750 per month

Value Pool – $990 per month

Premium Pool – $1800 per month

You also have a one off joining fee of $250 to sign up and can then cancel or pause and restart at anytime.

Motopool offers 3 different pools to choose from. The main differences between the pools are:

How long can I keep a vehicle?2019-05-17T12:55:03+00:00

You can keep each car as long as you need it and depending on which pool you select there is no restriction as to how quickly you can change cars also. So for instance if you are in the premium pool and can change up to 3 times a month – then you may wish to grab a different car just for a weekend trip away before switching back into your daily driver.

Some vehicles may have restrictions around their availability, so please consult your vehicle guide to find out more.

From time to time we may need to ask for a car back to carry out routine maintenance – but if that should happen, your personal concierge will drive to you and replace your current vehicle with another car just like the one you have.

All of our vehicles are near new – this means you will always have the latest models available to you.

Each car comes standard will all the bells and whistles you would expect to see in these latest model cars. Each car is unique and you should refer to the Motopool Vehicle Guide to check out all the details on each car to help you choose the right vehicle.

We do allow pets in certain cars – to find out which one either consult the Motopool guide located in your vehicles or speak to your concierge.

How much advance notice is required to flip (change) cars?2019-05-17T12:39:42+00:00

The standard time to notify Motopool or request a car is 3 days. This gives us time to ensure that we always have the right car available to you. The more notice you give the better but we will always work to accommodate urgent requests for our members.

Tolls are not included in the membership fee. If you do utilise tolls while driving these will simply be added to your future subscription fees.

What happens if my vehicle needs repair?2018-11-12T10:05:17+00:00

As all Motopool cars are near new you should never have to worry about repair issues. However, if something unexpected should happen – simply notify your Motopool concierge and we will get you back on the road as quickly as possible.

Are there things I need to know about each car?2018-11-12T10:07:50+00:00

Yes. Each car has its own Motopool guide that gives you information about the specific uses of this car.

Your concierge will also take you through these things when they hand the car over to you.

What happens if I get into an accident?2018-11-20T12:53:21+00:00

Firstly call 000 if anybody is hurt or if you think drugs or alcohol may be involved or the other party to the accident refuses to exchange contact details.

Call us on 07 3884 9494 to report the accident. If the car is driveable you can continue on your way and notify us when you can or send us an email including your details, the car’s rego and a brief message around the damage/accident.

Be sure to get all the information at the scene of the accident including the registration numbers of any vehicles involved, driver’s details including the full name, license number, address, phone number and date of birth. Please also get the details of any witness’s to the accident and photographs that may be helpful. If the police have been called pleas ensure you also get the police report number and the name of the officers attending. These can be sent to: concierge@motopool.com.au

Is there a per kilometre charge per month?2019-05-17T12:39:04+00:00

The Motopool subscription includes between 2000-3000 KM of driving each month depending on your pool and is across the different cars you drive. If you don’t use the full KM allowance each month then they will simply roll over into the following month for a period of up to 3 months. Once you go over the KM allowance each additional KM will be charged at 50c per km.

Can anyone else drive the vehicle?2018-11-20T12:54:12+00:00

Yes, you can register additional drivers as long as they are eligible and add them to your account. You can register up to 2 additional drivers.

Am I responsible for the Motopool car?2018-11-12T10:09:46+00:00

Yes, we expect our members to take care of the Motopool cars as if they owned them themselves. Please drive carefully and follow all laws at all times. We also expect you to keep the car clean and to notify us of any excessive mess or damage to the car.

Who pays for fuel?2018-11-20T12:55:17+00:00

All Motopool cars are delivered with a full tank of fuel. There is no need to fill the car when returning it if you don’t want to as we will re-fuel as part of the service and simply charge a fixed rate per litre which will be charged to your monthly membership fee. The set price for fuel is listed in the member manual on our website.

A valid credit card is required during signup along with your bank details to set up a direct debit. Your first payment will be charged in advance when your first vehicle is delivered. This will include your monthly membership fee along with the one off joining fee.

Subsequent fees will be charged monthly in advance along with any additional charges incurred for fuel, tolls or other fines.

What is the minimum sign up to Motopool?2018-11-12T10:11:08+00:00

The minimum commitment is just the first month. Motopool is a monthly subscription service meaning it will renew automatically monthly after the first period. At any point you can notify Motopool that you wish to end your subscription. We will end your subscription after your current month has expired.

What if I want to stop and start again?2019-05-17T11:19:38+00:00

If you do wish to stop your subscription at some point – say you’re going overseas for a holiday – and want to start back up you can. As long as you have completed the initial one month period – then you can start back up again and go straight to the month to month subscription without having to re-pay the joining fee. You can also change between the different pools on a monthly basis if you wish.
