Your Motopool membership gives you access to a range of different vehicles that can choose to drive for a monthly subscription fee. The details are as follows:
Monthly subscription fee from $750 to $1800 Inc. GST
All you pay for is fuel – everything else is covered
Additional charges such as tolls, fine and parking infringements are payable by you
Change(flip) cars up to 3 times per month depending on pool
All cars will be cleaned and have a full tank of fuel
No long term commitment – only 1 month initial subscription then month to month
Cancel at any time after initial month
One time joining fee of $250

With a Motopool subscription you can change your car up to 3 times per month depending on the pool you choose which means whatever the occasion – we’ve always got you covered!
Guide to Fees
Membership Fees – this is your monthly fee that is payable each month for your access to the service. It is set at $1800 per month for Motopool Premium, $990 for Motopool Value and $750 for Motopool Starter.
Joining Fee – this is a one-time fee that is payable upon joining the Motopool subscription and is $250
Ancillary Fees – This refers to any additional charges incurred by an account holder or their additional driver as a result of the use of the Motopool service. This includes but is not limited to infringement notices, speeding tickets, tolls, fuel and additional cleaning charges.
Availability of Vehicles
While Motopool always endeavors to give customers the ability to choose any of the cars in their pool, there are times when certain cars may be in popular demand and as a consequence unavailable. Certain cars will also have availability restrictions in terms of how often they can be booked within a 1 month period. Motopool’s commitment to our customers is that we will always work with them to ensure we can give them access to a comparable car in the event that a certain car is not available to them.
How to Book a vehicle and Manage a Booking
Booking a car is easy with our personal concierge service there to help you along the way. First simply view our Motopool Car guide to decide what car is going to suit you then simply either use our online booking portal or call your personal concierge. The online booking portal can be used to search availability of cars and then book in the car you want when you want it. Bookings need to be made 3 days in advance to ensure availability where possible and enable our concierge to organise delivery. Once booked our concierge will be in contact with you to ensure a smooth handover process. The other option is to simply call your concierge directly and we can take care of everything for you and get you booked into the car of your choice. You can also manage bookings or making changes using either our online portal and by calling your concierge. It’s that simple – the hardest part is just deciding what car to choose!
As part of the Motopool service we will always deliver your car to you full of fuel and ready to go. As part of the service you are able to hand back the car without a full tank of fuel – we simply ask that there is enough fuel to cover the trip home. Motopool will simply charge you for the fuel to refill the tank – however we won’t charge you an additional fee to do so as this is all part of the service. The below are the standard rates as at today that you will be charged for fuel:
Unleaded Petrol – $1.65
Premium Unleaded Petrol – $1.80
Diesel – $1.65
As part of the service you are able to add 2 additional drivers to your Motopool subscription. To do so we simply need them to be eligible as per the membership agreement and to complete an additional driver agreement.
Use of Vehicle
Motopool cars must always be used in a safe manner and you must always comply with any relevant road rules, laws or vehicles manuals that exist. For more specific information about your obligations as to how to use the cars please consult your membership agreement.
Each car also comes with its own Motopool Guide which will give you specific information about use of and operating the car that you are driving along with the Manufacturer Manual which are both located in the glove compartment.
KM Allowance Guide
Your Motopool subscription comes with between 2000-3000km worth of KM’s dependent on the pool to travel each month which we think should be more than enough to get you going. If you exceed the KM allowance then you will be charged an additional KM charge at $0.50c per KM. Any unused KM each month will be transferred over and can be used the next month for a period of up to 3 months.
What if I have an accident or cause damage?
Firstly call 000 if anybody is hurt or if you think drugs or alcohol may be involved or the other party to the accident refuses to exchange contact details.
Call us on 07 3884 9494 to report the accident. If the car is driveable you can continue on your way and notify us when you can or send us an email including your details, the car’s rego and a brief message around the damage/accident.
Be sure to get all the information at the scene of the accident including the registration numbers of any vehicles involved, driver’s details including the full name, license number, address, phone number and date of birth. Please also get the details of any witness’s to the accident and photographs that may be helpful. If the police have been called pleas ensure you also get the police report number and the name of the officers attending. These can be sent to: email@example.com
What about a breakdown - Roadside Assist
If you have any mechanical issues while using your car including a flat tyre or drained battery please contact our roadside assist provider on 1800 817 100 if your vehicle is a Holden and 131 542 if your vehicle is a Kia and quote your rego number. Please remain with the vehicle until this is resolved.
